I’ve bought thousands of these in different grains and the .223 both in hollow point and full metal jacket. They are great for the range, and for hunting and home defense. I am about to order the 600 rounds sale now. I’ve never had one not fire or hang up in my AR-15 Stoner , I have an original m-16 mag, about 15 30 round mags, 2 20 round mags ,a 10 round and 15 round mag and haven’t had a fail to feed or shoot yet and I’ve shot hundreds of them so far. Great ammo.

I don’t load my own so I buy ammunition that is reliable for Practical Rifle and 3-Gun competition and the Winchester White Box ammo has worked very well for me in 5.56mm, .223, 9mm 115gr and 147gr, .45 ACP, .12ga slugs and 7-1/2 birdshot.

Winchester. A name synonymous with high quality ammunition. Clean burning ball powder is the only way to go if you want many rounds through your D.I. Ar-15 before having to field strip it for cleaning. I have shot thousands of rounds of Winchester ball ammo through various weapons without having to worry about factory quality control issues. It is generally more expensive than other manufacturer brands, but for me– reliability is critical.

The “White box” amo has always been the industry standard. I reload. When I bought my first .556/.223 I asked a friend who owns a gun store where to begin. His answer was White Box. Reliability, consistency and a decent price. Hopefully my reloads are as good as the originals.
